This is a landmark success. Many other restaurants can learn a lot from Armstrong's business model.

1st time here, good atmosphere and service was on point. Our booth (& bathroom) was clean, our server Shawna H. was courteous and prompt. For a mid-priced bill ($40), it was worth it: portions were enough to take home for a 2nd meal (this included app. & bread basket, 2 entrees and 1 dessert). Not far from Robert Morris U., so if visiting, this would be a good place to get good food & recap.

Staff very friendly and fast. Beware the secret is out as this place is usually busy with a wait line BUT it is worth the wait!! It is even near capacity an hour after the typical 12 noon lunch hour & definitely very busy from dinner to almost closing. Didn't think that happens in Pittsburgh's suburb of Moon Twp.

Portion size=humongous. Definitely plan this around running a 5k or a cheat day so you don't feel guilty getting the side of pasta with most of their dishes.

The Parms are all great- chicken, eggplant.

The soups are also filling and the best way to stay warm on a Pittsburgh fall day.k

Huge portions and always quality food. The steak salad is to large to finish in 1 sitting!! Decent atmosphere, sometimes crowded. I have been seated in the middle of an isle. This is a great spot for lunch, but get there early to beat the midday rush!

A neighborhood staple if you enjoy a variety of Italian dishes. A step up from the Eat'nPark's of this town and definitely a local favorite.

Wedding soup served as a side was a meal in itself. Could only eat half of hot sausage and pasta lunch item. Took home enough left overs from two lunches to give us enough for lunch tomorrow. Many people were carrying out left-overs too. And the food was very good too.

To Go Orders are just as good with portion sizes over the top.

One of the very few restaurants I will give a 5 star rating. Been coming here for years! Food variety & quality is top notch. Prices are fair & portion sizes are amazingly large enough that many times you take home food.
