I would recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Always very helpful. Can't ask for better people
Old fashion hardware store. They know their stuff and will get you the right solution to your needs. The best place to go bar none. Forget the box stores.
Unfortunately after a few years of buying items from there, renting from there, and having windows fixed for my small business I had what I can only refer to as a dumbfounding experience. I rented a pressure washer from there for a day. After some unfortunate events I had to keep it for an extra 6 days. No big deal I assumed since I rent from other businesses like Home Depot, sunbelt etc and if you keep it longer than you originally thought they just charge you and it is what it is. Well apparently not here. I was woken up to multiple police cars pounding on my door informing me I was charged with theft. After laughing i asked what they were taking about and they informed me the owner pressed charges. The officers also stated they called me that morning about the situation and when I stated I had no missed calls the other officer rudely Told me they record all calls and to get my phone. I did and showed them I had no missed calls. So after they left I immediately called the hardware store and spoke with the owner and explained the situation and told him sorry for the confusion and I would bring it back first thing in the morning and I had to go pick it up from job site. He said ok. After about two minutes I felt bad and called back and said hey how about i come down and pay you for what I owed you To this point at least. He said great and thanked me. I went down paid cash and said I'm going to go there now finish the job and POSSIBLY return it this evening. He said ok. He then called me later that evening about 20 minutes before they closed and asked if I was coming. I stated that I was actually in the area and that I would stop by before they closed. As I was getting it together and making sure it was topped off with gas I realized I left one of the tips to the pressure washer at my house. At that same time he called me again and asked where I was I told him that I was right around the corner and just realized that I left it at home and asked him if it would be OK if I just brought it back in the morning and that I would even pay for the extra day. Before I could even finish that sentence he screamed at me to be there within 5 minutes or he was calling police back. So earlier that day he was ok with me coming the next day and paying the next day. I went down paid immedielty and said I MIGHT be able to bring it back same day. All the the sudden he flipped out on me. Needless to say I will never go there again and spend money for my business and more than likely he will lose some business due to the fact entire family goes there and I have recommended them to customers in the past. It was such an odd experience I couldn't even believe I was telling people the story. Being a small business I hate to do this but this want just a small inconvienece. The fact I had police cars show up to my house and threaten to take me to jail over a pressure washer I was renting is ridiculous.
The place to go when you want old fashioned service and direction for your project. The folks here actually know what they are talking about and are always willing to take the time to help.
